Basic Photography: Taking Better Pictures

Understanding photography’s basics is essential to making great images. Start with basic photographic principles and camera controls and expand to composition, color theory and issues of visual perception.

Once you have taken this introductory class, follow it up with Photography Portfolio, diving deeper into photography and building your skills, your eye, your personal style, and your own photography portfolio. Continue through multiple semesters if you wish.
