Inlay & Veneer
Inlay and veneer play an important part in the elegance of traditional New England period furniture and certain contemporary designs. Learn to design and create objects that incorporate hand-inlaid veneer in a studio class geared to students' individual projects. If you have an idea for a piece, bring your plans, or we will help you select a project to gain the skills you desire. Learn to plan for inlay before construction and use a router, razors, string and quarter-circle inlay.
NOTE: Although this class is cancelled for winter 2010, we are planning to offer a shorter condensed version later in the year. Watch this space for details.
