Teen Woodworking I - age 13-17

Choose your own projects and gain appreciation for wood as a creative medium. Beginners learn about shop safety and etiquette, wood, milling, joinery, layout, basic hand and power tools. Continuing students develop their skills on more complex projects.

Two classes each term focus on wood turning with artisan Ken Lindgren.

Note: A second-level class, Teen Woodworking II, is for students who have taken Teen Woodworking I for several semesters and are ready for the next level. Instructor’s permission is required.
