JP Open Studios
September 25 & 26, 2010
Every fall, Jamaica Plain Open Studios showcases the work of 200 artists throughout the neighborhood. The Eliot School hosts two dozen of these artists in our building and yard.
Highlights in 2009 included demonstrations by our teachers: dollmaking with Laurel Stroman, spinning with Linda Scharf, and gilding with Nancy Dick-Atkinson. Look for more teacher demos in 2010.
We were also graced with live music by local guitarist Sam LoCascio. We hope to bring Sam back again this year.
