Founded in 1676, The Eliot School is one of the oldest continuously running educational institutions in the country. We provide instruction in fine and applied arts to adults and children at all levels of experience.

Our instructors, all professional artists and master craftspeople, are highly acclaimed by the best possible critics, our repeat students. Our historic site, built in 1832, provides students with fine art classroom space, a fully equipped woodworking shop and a sewing room. Located in Jamaica Plain, in the center of the city of Boston, we are easily accessible by car and by T, with public parking nearby.
