In this Workshop, you'll learn basic tools and techniques of the folk-art form of Oaxacan wood-carving, passed down through generations, from Oaxacan woodcarver Norbert Fabian, son of the late master Ventura Fabian, who lives and works in the woodcarving village of San Martín Tilcajete, Mexico.

We’ll be covering the basics you need to begin your drawing journey! We’ll be talking about drawing from shapes, sketching places and figures, basic perspective, light and shadow, and more! Be prepared to explore visual concepts.
