  2. Woodworking & Mixed Media
  3. Comic Arts & Fiber Arts
  4. Comic Arts & Mixed Media

This is the class page for 3: Comic Arts and Fiber Arts. Click on the hyperlinks above to view the other options for the 6-8 age group.

We only offer full-day programming during April Vacation week. Instruction takes place inside the Eliot Schoolhouse. Play, snack, and lunch time will take place in either the Schoolyard or, during inclement weather, the Schoolhouse.

Comic Arts (Morning Instruction)

For young storytellers that want to make their own comics! With their instructor, students will develop unique styles and dynamic characters by looking at references from anime, manga, DC, and Marvel. They will love creating and sharing visual stories of their own.

Fiber Arts (Afternoon Instruction)

For students that want to learn or build upon sewing basics. Students sew by hand and machine, cut patterns, and develop their own personal sewing kit. They will begin by sewing bags, pillows, and simple clothing. As they gain more experience and skill, more complex projects follow. Students will love making things for themselves and their loved ones!

The instructor for this class will be announced soon.
