Beginning Crochet

Learn crochet basics, including pattern reading, foundation chain, single, half double and double crochet, crocheting in the round, seaming, comfort and coordination with hooks. Create a sequence of squares that can be stitched together to form a scarf or blanket. Beginners are welcome as well as those seeking a refresher. Limit 8 students

-900 total yards of three colors of chunky weight yarn, solid light colors and smooth texture. (Please, stay away from novelty textured yarns, variegated colors, heathers and tweeds. Dark colors such as black, dark grays, dark browns and navy are not recommended.) Suggested yarns and locations for supplies are below.
-3 Crochet Hooks: 1 each following sizes
-USK/10/6.5mm
-USL/11/8.0mm
-USM/13/9.0mm
-Yarn needle
-Scissors
