Costuming & Millinery with Thermoplastics

 

Explore costume and hat-shaping with thermo-formable materials such as Fosshape and Warbla. Learn shaping, wiring, stabilizing with papier mâché techniques, painting and covering. You will not take home a hat or finished piece from this class, but you will take home skills to create sophisticated hats and costumes on your own. Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of a sewing machine. Limit 8 students
