Decorative Parquetry ***NEW***

This intensive 3-day workshop, over Veterans Day weekend, is designed for advanced students. Juxtapose natural colors of different wood species to create a simple, yet elegant geometric design. Using traditional skills and tools, create multiples of a star-shaped ornament. Learn methods to plan, cut, assemble, glue, clamp and slice to create these lovely ornaments. The flat, very thin ornaments can stand alone or be inlaid into furniture or wooden objects, adding sophisticated decoration and a refined final touch to any project.
