Nancy King

Nancy King is an avid woodworker. A long-time student at the Eliot School, she shares her skills here with children. Trained as a lawyer, she retired from working for the Commonwealth, helping low-income children and families. She is currently enrolled in the Art Education program as Massachusetts College of Art & Design.

Susan Vannini

Susan Vannini

Susan Vannini has studied woodworking at the Eliot School and North Bennet Street School for over a decade. She turns bowls, stoppers and other objects from wood and sells them through her label, SV Designs. She has taught woodworking to hundreds of children at the Eliot School over the years.

Basic materials will be supplied in class. Students will be coached on any extra materials that need to be purchased on their own for more complex projects.
