Kids' Sewing Ages 9-12 1W24
For students that want to learn or build upon sewing basics. Students sew by hand and machine, cut patterns, and develop their own personal sewing kit. They will begin by sewing bags, pillows, and simple clothing. As they gain more experience and skill, more complex projects follow. Students will love making things for themselves and their loved ones!
The small class allows for individual attention, and we invite students of all levels to share their skills. Returning students welcome, new projects each session! Limit 6 students
Carol Price has been sewing since childhood, following the tradition set by her father, a tailor. She designs and sells her own line of women’s apparel, pillows, drapes, backpacks, handbags and dolls. Over the years, Carol has taught hundreds of people of all ages to sew at the Eliot School.
