Kids Studio: Art from Observation (Ages 10-14) 1F26

Join us for a studio course for beginner and intermediate young artists interested in deepening their artistic practice through drawing and painting from direct observation. This course provides a supportive environment where students will learn professional techniques, experiment with different media, and bring their unique visions to life.
Students will use drawing, watercolor, and tempera paint to translate the world around them into works of art. Over the course of four weeks, young artists will build technical skill and creative confidence with guidance from the instructor. Projects include mapping the human face in a portraiture, mastering form and light through a classic still life, and capturing depth in an expressive landscape. The class culminates in an student-directed project inspired by art history.
