Kids' Woodworking Ages 9-12 1S23

Children learn basic woodworking skills starting with simple projects, using hand tools. Continuing students undertake larger and more complex projects, gaining appreciation for wood as a creative medium. New projects each section. Children will love to come back again and again as their skills and comfort increase. Limit 8 Students
Rebecca Comella

Rebecca teaches visual arts and woodworking in our School and Community Partnership Program in Boston Public Schools. She also teaches woodworking classes in house at The Eliot School as well as the Summer Program for Children. She is a licensed Massachusetts DESE teacher for Visual Arts, Technology Education, and Instructional Technology. Rebecca graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Providence College. In her free time she enjoys gardening, hiking, and biking.
