Kids' Woodworking Ages 9-12 2F19
Children learn basic woodworking skills starting with simple projects, using hand tools. Continuing students undertake larger and more complex projects, gaining appreciation for wood as a creative medium. New projects each section. Children will love to come back again and again as their skills and comfort increase. Limit 8 students

Brooke Scibelli is an artist and creative producer. Her art begins as a concept or idea, and is explored through various media including fibers, printmaking, sculpture, video and performance. Brooke enjoys making work in her home studio and in public spaces. She has taught visual arts, crafts, digital and analogue photography, gardening and jewelry classes to elementary and middle school students in various programs throughout Massachusetts.
With Dyllan Nguyen, she founded Non Issue Studio, where they make distinct handmade objects in wood felts, fibers and other materials to solve everyday problems and add simple texture to life. She also works as a Special Projects Coordinator for the Eliot School.
She holds a BFA from the Studio for Interrelated Media at Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
