Kids' Woodworking Ages 9-12 2S22

Children learn basic woodworking skills starting with simple projects, using hand tools. Continuing students undertake larger and more complex projects, gaining appreciation for wood as a creative medium. New projects each section. Children will love to come back again and again as their skills and comfort increase. Parents are welcome to stay if they wish. (Limit 8 students)

Masks are required in the schoolhouse. All eligible children/teens will be required to complete the recommended course of vaccinations for Covid-19 prior to attending programs at the Eliot School in 2022.  The 2nd recommended inoculation must be scheduled for no later than January 17th, 2022.  If you have questions/concerns about compliance with this policy, please contact us at   .

Susan Vannini has studied woodworking at the Eliot School and North Bennet Street School for over a decade. She turns bowls, stoppers and other objects from wood and sells them through her label, SV Designs. She has taught woodworking to hundreds of children at the Eliot School over the years.
