Make Big Photos 1S20 CANCELED
What would your photos, prints or paintings look like REALLY big? Learn how to prepare a file in Photoshop,including color correction, sharpening and enlarging. Watch the Epson 9890 make big prints up to 4' x 8' using archival pigment ink, rated to last over 200 years. Leave class with a 24" x 36" print of your own on Epson Luster photo paper. You do not need to own Photoshop software to participate. All levels welcome. This class takes place at the instructor's Somerville studio. Limit 6 students
Gary Duehr is a photographer, poet and public installation artist.
His work has been featured in museums including the Institute of Contemporary Art, (Boston MA), MOMA PS 1 (New York, NY), Los Angeles County Museum of Art and Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (Havana, Cuba), as well as in exhibitions in Tokyo, Venice, Stockholm, London and Barcelona. Past awards include grants from the LEF Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation. He has been chosen as a Best Emerging Artist in New England by the International Association of Art Critics, and he has received an Artist Grant in photography from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
His public artworks include a video artwork for the Canadian subway system, a photo installation funded by the Visible Republic program of New England Foundation for the Arts, and a commission from the MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority) for a permanent photo installation at North Station. He manages Bromfield Gallery in Boston's South End.

- The images you would like to print on a thumb drive. Final print size will be 200 dpi. Save image as hi-res JPG. Files will be enlarged and prepped for print in class. Do not bring in Raw images, they may be hard to open.
- Pen and paper for notes
- Brown bag lunch
