Monotype Printing Intensive
Build skills in monotype printmaking, making single, unique prints using a manual printing press. Build composition, texture, depth and layers through experimentation and variation. Combine techniques, including overprinting, chine collé and collage, subtraction and tracing, incorporating organic materials and found objects for rich, complex results. Limit 8 students
Lynda Goldberg makes paintings and prints inspired by nature. She works in layers and juxtaposes various mediums: water soluble oil paints, printing inks, charcoal, pastel, oil pastel, graphite and India inks, experimenting with combinations of mediums and how one medium influences another.
She has exhibited in New England in both solo and group shows, and received numerous awards. Her work is in many corporate, private, and non-profit collections in the U.S. and abroad.
She is a member of the: National Association of Women Artists, Art Connection, Monotype Guild of New England, Nature Printing Society, Unbound Visual Arts, Brickbottom Artists Association, Newton Art Association, North Shore Art Association and Rockport Art Association.
