Students will get an overview of working with plants including how to mordant fibers to get the best results.

We will explore a rainbow of color including madder, lac, brazilwood, marigold and more. Learn about what plants you can grow yourself or get at the supermarket. What is the difference between natural dyeing processes and synthetics? 

*This class will have a kit fee that includes all the dyestuffs, a handout and fiber.
