SPC Week 7: Oral Histories (Ages 6-8)

Age Group:
Children

Stories passed around shape how we interact with our surroundings. Oral histories, explanations of natural and unnatural events, stories of the heroic in the ordinary, all of these form part of the thread that stitches our communities together. Explore community anecdotes, old family stories, and yarns spun about what happened on your block yesterday. Through painting, collage, building, and other alternative story media, we will depict the new and old oral traditions that hold us together.

2 pods will be formed and assigned prior to the start of Summer Program
