Teen Woodworking Ages 13-17 1S22
Learn about woodworking using a combination of machines and hand tools in a guided project. Previous projects have included boxes, picture frames, stools, small drawers, and more. Each class is different and students are encouraged to take multiple sessions to continue developing their skills before moving onto designing an building their own projects.
David Meyers is a Boston-based artist, educator and craftsperson. Attending Temple University for a BFA in Painting/Drawing with a Minor in Art History, David later went on to get his MFA at the University of Iowa studying Painting with a secondary emphasis in Sculpture. David’s artistic practice has spanned from Oil and Acrylic painting to multimedia work utilizing LED Neon lights, woodworking, welding, drawing, sculpture as well as installation art and much more. As a lover of art-history, visual culture and craft, David continues to search for what it means to make art in this day and age.
