Weave Your Own Tote Bag 1W27
Spend six hours designing and weaving your own one-of-a-kind fabric on a pre-set rigid heddle loom. Using repurposed cotton fabric strips and a wide selection of quality yarns, you’ll create an original textile in colors, patterns, and textures that reflect your personal style.
Once your fabric is woven, Dahlia will assemble it into a finished tote bag and ship it to you after the workshop.
No previous weaving experience is necessary. This workshop is a fun creative experience for individuals, groups of friends, or family members.
A $35 materials fee is due to the instructor on the day of the workshop.

Dahlia Popovits
Dahlia Popovits has been designing and weaving extraordinary clothes and accessories utilizing her award winning handwoven textiles made with the finest luxury yarns from around the world, for nearly 50 years. Her work can be seen in her Boston gallery, dahliahandmade.com, which features her handwoven clothing, as well as the work of other artisans.
She has taught at a variety of art centers the past 40 years, and is happy to be able to share her knowledge through her upcoming workshops.
