Yupo Painting 1W23
Age Group:Teens (17+), Adults
Yupo, a synthetic paper made from polypropylene resin, opens many exciting possibilities for water-based media.
Colors flow, swirl and bleed on its surface, creating unique effects when the water evaporates. Once the initial image is dry, you may rework areas, remove color and apply monoprinting techniques. Go beyond basics, making a series of images in class.
Limit 8 students

- Spray bottle /mister
- Pad of Yupo Paper - can be sourced from https://www.cheapjoes.com/ or https://www.dickblick.com/. (We won't be working larger than 12" so no need to purchase very large pads unless you want to cut your paper down to size. No translucent paper and heaviest (weight) is better. )
