Children assemble projects in wood, learning to safely use the basic tools and techniques. Emphasizing creativity in our explorations, students will experience the pleasure of building things and completing them to take home.

Susan Vannini has studied woodworking at the Eliot School and North Bennet Street School for over a decade. She turns bowls, stoppers and other objects from wood and sells them through her label, SV Designs. She has taught woodworking to hundreds of children at the Eliot School over the years.
