Herbal Crafts: Medicinal Teas 1S22

Age Group:
Teens, Adults

Herbal teas can be a powerful, simple and delicious way to sooth and strengthen our spirits. In building relationship with local herbs and good skills in making a proper medicinal tea, we can help ourselves and loved ones be more resilient and nourished. In this class, Su Cousineau of Taproot Healing will share about the basics of herbal infusions and decoctions, specific healing herbs and some favorite medicinal blends. We'll discuss support for tension, anxiety, insomnia, overwhelm & heartache. You'll also be guided in making your own herbal blend for tea at home.

I wanted to do a quick and easy one day workshop with a friend. I was hoping for a craft that was new to me and for a workshop that was reasonably priced. This fit all those criteria for me!  The vibe was friendly and I learned new things (herbs, how they impact the body, etc.).  Su is knowledgeable and a great teacher.
