Kids Art Exploration: Mixed Media (Ages 6-8) 1W25
Artists will explore new ways to use art materials with playful and group interactive projects. Students should expect getting a bit messy and moving around the room. Artists will use wet on wet painting techniques, learn about additive and subtractive mark making through scratch art and think about scale when making art.
Artists will walk away with new ways of using basic art materials like ink, tempera paint and oil pastels. Along with their frameable art creations, students will be able to take home artwork that will continue to be interactive and useful in play.
