Kids Woodworking (Ages 9-12) 2W25

For kids that want to learn or build upon the basics of woodworking. Students will build projects in wood with hand tools and techniques in an environment that emphasizes creativity and safety. As they gain experience and skill, students will undertake larger and more complex projects, gaining appreciation for wood as a creative medium.

Please note that the makeup date for this class is on a Friday.

Students of all levels are invited to share their skills. Returning students welcome, new projects each session! Limit 8 Students.

I have done art all my life, having graduated from Boston Arts Academy and Lesley University. I have been with the Eliot School for nearly ten years, starting as a teaching assistant in 2015 and becoming a teacher in 2021. I have taught ages 4 to 18 in a variety of arts, with the desire to see anyone—from anywhere—embrace their creativity to its fullest extent.
