In this workshop we will go through the process of making laminated wooden rings. As wood is a directional material which can easily break at the small scale of a ring, we will be laminating several thin sheets of wood or “veneer” together to create a strong ring!
In this one day workshop we will take wood from a rough state to a finished charcuterie board. We will cover wood selection, design, shaping, carving, sanding, and finishing.
