In this introductory woodworking class, students will learn foundational techniques for carving kiln-dried hardwood. The first project will be a simple carved spoon, allowing students to become familiar with essential tools and processes. For the second project, students will design and carve a piece of their choice, such as a hand-carved bowl, a small sculpture, a wall hanging, or another utensil.
