Carved Charcuterie Board (Beginner) 1S24
In this one day workshop we will take wood from a rough state to a finished charcuterie board. We will cover wood selection, design, shaping, carving, sanding, and finishing.
The Charcuterie board each student creates will be unique, intended for serving different dishes but most will include a flat space to be used as a cutting board and several shallow bowls to store olives, dips, and cheeses. We will focus on carving, sanding, and finishing with basic wood tools, it is a great project for a beginner!
Students will walk away with a finished Charcuterie board and basic knowledge of carving, sanding, and finishing.
