Introduction to Embroidery 1W25
In this two-day workshop, students will learn a variety of stitches and decorative embroidery techniques. Participants will learn how to add images, textures, and dimension to a flat piece of fabric. Students will then create an artwork based on imagery that inspires them, or in the abstract, using these new embroidery techniques.
Students will leave with their artwork and a portable stitch sampler, spanning from chain stitches, looped stitches, french knots, pistils, couching, satin stitch, cretan stitch, etc., that can be applied to future projects.
Limit 8 students.
No make up date.
