Laminated Wooden Rings 1S24

Age Group:
Adults

In this workshop we will go through the process of making laminated wooden rings. As wood is a directional material which can easily break at the small scale of a ring, we will be laminating several thin sheets of wood or “veneer” together to create a strong ring!

You will customize the ring to your desired proportions and shape! Each student will come away with a one-of-a-kind ring, a perfect gift.

You walk away from this workshop with a basic knowledge of wood grain and plywood lamination. We will also cover using the drill press, shaping with rasps, sanding, and finishing.
