If you're looking for a relaxing class, learn to weave a gorgeous handmade wall hanging, then join this weaving class available to all skill levels! In this class, you'll learn how to make a handmade tapestry and gain the knowledge to continue with your new craft.
We will review and learn all the basic skills for weaving, starting with how to warp your loom. You can be as creative as you want and use yarn of various weights and textures to match your unique style. You will learn a variety of popular weaving techniques including plain weave, soumak, rya knots and tapestry techniques. Dahlia, who has had decades of experience in weaving, will guide you and answer any questions from start to finish! No experience is necessary.
Weaving can be very soothing.. a true de stressor! Unwind your mind and zone out with this creative project.

Dahlia Popovits
Dahlia Popovits has been designing and weaving extraordinary clothes and accessories utilizing her award winning handwoven textiles made with the finest luxury yarns from around the world, for nearly 50 years. Her work can be seen in her Boston gallery, dahliahandmade.com, which features her handwoven clothing, as well as the work of other artisans.
She has taught at a variety of art centers the past 40 years, and is happy to be able to share her knowledge through her upcoming workshops.
