Weave Your Own Tote Bag 2W23

Create a custom tote-bag from your original, woven fabric.  You'll learn to weave your own textile on a pre set rigid heddle loom using re purposed cotton strips of fabric, along with a wide selection of quality yarns.

You'll weave and create your own individual design, experimenting with varied fibers to your personal aesthetic.

Once the fabric has been woven, the workshop instructor, Dahlia, will take your weaving back to her studio, assemble the bag, and ship it to you.  (Labor costs and shipping included in tuition fee).

Limit 6 students.

I wanted to try weaving again and brought my mom to learn how to weave and try a new crafting experience.  I loved Dahlia’s attention to detail and ability to make every step understandable and fun.  She’s incredibly helpful in answering every question, creating a comfortable class environment, and ensuring that everyone feels good about what they’re creating while learning lots along the way!  Dahlia is a stellar instructor and a fabulous communicator.

I took Dahlia’s scarf weaving class in the fall and loved it (which led me to sign up for this class) and I’d absolutely come back for another weaving workshop with her!  I registered for this workshop because I wanted to try weaving again and brought my mom to learn how to weave and try a new crafting experience!  Dahlia is a stellar instructor and a fabulous communicator.  She’s incredibly helpful in answering every question, creating a comfortable class environment, and ensuring that everyone feels good about what they’re creating while learning lots along the way!  I loved Dahlia’s attention to detail and ability to make every step understandable and fun!  I really enjoyed the small classroom environment and couldn’t have asked for a better instructor or classroom learning experience!
