If you need to learn how to use a sewing machine for the first time, Basic Sewing is for you. 

Learn how to operate a sewing machine, learn basic sewing terms, sewing methods and tools of the trades in order to choose, read and understand patterns.

**PLEASE NOTE: Enrolled students must not miss more than one consecutive class or they will not be able to progress in the course.** 

Learn the basics of bent lamination and walk away with a curved bent form designed and created in class. The form can exist on its own or be incorporated into a larger sculptural or furniture piece outside of class.
