Registration for JP Open Studios has begun!

If you've visited the Eliot School of Fine & Applied Arts during the last week of September, you've seen the school decked-out for JP Open Studios.  JP Open Studios is an annual event in Jamaica Plain, allowing artists/makers to showcase their skills and sell their work, often in their creative work-spaces.

Each year at the Eliot School of Fine & Applied Arts, we invite our instructors & staff, practitioners of woodworking, painting, sewing, illustration and many other crafts, to take over our schoolyard and schoolhouse.  Our Teen Bridge and Artist-in-Residence program participants show off what they've spent the year creating.  Our schoolyard is dotted with festive tents full of beautiful quilts, fine art prints, hand-turned wooden bowls, beaded jewelry, handmade soap, and more.

This year, we'll offer a selection of exhibitors inside the Schoolhouse once again, taking health & safety precautions for all participants and visitors.  The Eliot School JP Open Studios site will feature interactive art-making, musical performances, and live "making-of" demonstrations by our team throughout the weekend.  We look forward to seeing you there!
