Finding Your Story: Bookmaking and Alternative Photography 1F26

Age Group:
Adults

Join us for a one-day immersive multi-media art workshop exploring personal storytelling through bookmaking, collage, journaling, and photography!

Participants will create their own handmade accordion book journal while experimenting with a variety of creative processes, including instant photography and cyanotype printing. Through guided prompts, image-making, and mixed-media techniques, students will gather memories, observations, and personal reflections to build a unique visual narrative. Combining photography, found imagery, the written word, and collage, each participant will craft a one-of-a-kind artist book that captures meaningful moments, ideas, and experiences.

This workshop is designed for artists of all experience levels and encourages creativity, self-expression, and mindful exploration. By the end of the day, students will leave with a completed accordion book journal, new artistic skills, and a deeper appreciation for the stories that shape their lives.

Please note that this workshop does not have a make-up date.
