Utility Tote Basket 1F26
Learn the fundamentals of basket weaving while creating a sturdy and versatile utility tote basket. This beginner-friendly workshop introduces students to basic basketry techniques as they weave a functional basket suitable for everyday use.
Students will complete a basket measuring approximately 16" x 8" x 9" and finish it with durable polypropylene webbing handles for added strength and comfort. Ideal for errands, trips to the beach, or grocery shopping, this practical basket is designed for regular use. Several handle and accent color options will be available, allowing students to customize their finished piece.

William Krier
Born and raised among the Amish community in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, William Krier developed an interest in the art of basket weaving and has been practicing this art since the 1980's. He enjoys the challenge that wicker basketry brings. Using a variety of agents from commercial dyes to nut hull stain to teas, William dyes and stains all of his own reed.
Weaving traditional baskets using bright colors is William's way of contemporizing the art of basket making.
