The Gift of Clean Air for Our Schoolhouse

Find a Class

We are fundraising to Improve the air quality of the schoolhouse

HELP US PREPARE FOR YOUR RETURN!

Members of our wood shop community gathered this month. It was great to see teachers and students together online. We discussed the wonderful improvements we’ve been able to make in the schoolhouse and woodshop during closure, and to look forward to upgrades we’ll need to make before we can bring folks back into our space. Board member and architect, Ed Forte detailed two top priorities, clean air and social distancing. A system to ensure clean air exchange and filtration could cost us $40,000 or more.

To get the fundraising ball rolling, a generous student pledged $10K to help reach our goal. Before the night was over, we more than matched this gift. We are a now past halfway to an airflow system! Many thanks to those of you who gave and pledged. You can help, too. We still need to raise $15k to meet our goal.

Clean air will be the starting point as we ultimately move to re-open our tuition-based classes. Please help us get to that starting point by donating here.
