Isaac Gewirth
Isaac Gewirth is a Boston-based student, designer, artist, and craftsperson. Isaac is a fifth-year student in the combined BA/BFA program between Tufts University and the School at the Museum of Fine Arts where they study material culture and studio art. With a passion for figuring out how to make things, Isaac loves to spend time in the woodshop, working with their hands and experimenting with different methods and processes of creating. Isaac’s practice works to reconcile their identities as a woodworker and designer with their political values, particularly with attention to the themes of status, taste, quality, and ethical consumption.
