Kids Studio: Intro to Crochet (Ages 9-14) 1W27

Spend the winter making cozy crafts with this unique fiber art! In this 6-week class, students will explore the fundamentals of crochet, while learning to follow and create step-by-step patterns. Students will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of projects, including accessories and plushies. The creative opportunities are endless!

Students will begin by learning the fundamentals of crochet, e.g., basic stitches and chains. As their skills and confidence increase, they will progress from simple projects, like keychains and cat ear hats, to intermediate projects, like amigurumi (small stuffed animals). Students will end the class with an independent project of their choice.
