Summer Program for Children
It is with a heavy heart that we have canceled all spring classes and our Summer Program for Children. We look forward to our Summer Program in 2021 and we hope you will join us then. Thank you for your support during this extraordinary time.
For those of you enrolled in a canceled Summer Program class, please consider donating your tuition back to the Eliot School. You may also take a credit toward a future registration. Or you may request a refund. Please be in contact with our Registrar’s office or click here to fill out a form to let us know which option you want to choose.
Teen Bridge Kicks Off New Artist in Residence with multimedia artist and filmmaker Carolyn Shadid Lewis for our new virtual artist’s residency. Their collaborative project, “InterGeneration,” will document dialogs between teens and elders who are vulnerable to displacement in the gentrifying Boston neighborhoods of Jamaica Plain and Roxbury. Stay tuned for more.
School and Community Partnerships (SCP)
Our SCP teachers have been virtually teaching students of the Boston Public School.
Virtual Teaching Spotlight: Abby Neale
Our School & Community Partnership teacher Abby Neale has been a rock star before and during social distancing. She jumped right into virtual teaching when Boston Public Schools closed their doors. As our lead visual art teacher at Grew Elementary School and Lee Academy, Abby has restructured her living space and uses her cell phone to teach her students. Visit her YouTube channel or Facebook page to see her in action.
