Basic Sewing 1W26

Age Group:
Adults

If you need to learn how to use a sewing machine for the first time, Basic Sewing is for you. Learn how to operate a sewing machine, learn basic sewing terms, sewing methods and tools of the trades in order to choose, read and understand patterns. Then apply your newly found skills by sewing accessories such as a pillow or tote bag, and if you feel ready, your first garment! This class uses Janome Model 731 sewing machines.

Completion qualifies students for intermediate classes. We will review where to buy supplies in class.

**PLEASE NOTE: Enrolled students must not miss more than one consecutive class or they will not be able to progress to the next level in the course.**
