Basic Sewing: Consolidate Your Skills 1W25

Age Group:
Adults

This course is ideal for people who are no longer absolute beginners (who already know how to use a sewing machine) but don't have much practice and would like to brush up on their skills. This course is also recommended for students who have taken a basic course but would like to go back over certain techniques or deepen their basic knowledge.

In this class, students will hone their previous knowledge of sewing machines and their functions, as well as basic techniques such as sewing straight, making angles and hems, choosing the direction of a fabric, and reasoning from the inside out. Students will complete short projects in class such as zippered pouches and bags.

At the end of the 4 weeks, students will be autonomous enough to continue practicing on their own, since practice is the key to success in sewing.

Limit 6 students

**PLEASE NOTE: Enrolled students must not miss more than one consecutive class or they will not be able to progress in the course.**

Make Up Date: 2/18/25
