Eco Tie-Dye Shirts 1F26

Upcycle cotton clothing from the thrift store or your closet with beautiful leaf prints, stencils, or painted designs!

In this one-session workshop, students will learn the process of discharge eco tie-dying to decorate cotton clothing with bleach. Students will be given a selection of decoration options, including materials from nature such as leaves, stencils, and painting. Depending on the intricacy of their chosen designs, students will make 1-5 shirts or other articles of clothing. Soft Bleach provides the magic of this technique, which will transform even stained clothing into unique works of art.

This workshop takes place in the Eliot Schoolyard to ensure adequate ventilation when working with bleach. Dress for comfort, wear something that can get messy!

This workshop is for ages 6 and up. Please note that children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

There is a scheduled rain date for this workshop on Sunday, 10/25 at 2 PM.
