Weave a Striated Chenille Scarf 1F26
Learn to weave while creating a striated chenille scarf to keep you warm during the colder months. Chenille is soft, warm, and a wonderful alternative to wool.
Your tabletop loom will be pre-warped and ready to weave in the color of your choice. A selection of luxury chenille yarns will be available for you to design your scarf. This workshop is perfect for beginning weavers and provides an introduction to basic weaving on a rigid heddle loom.
Over two four-hour sessions, students will weave and finish their scarf, leaving with a completed handmade accessory ready to wear.
All materials and tools are provided.

Dahlia Popovits has been designing and weaving extraordinary clothes and accessories utilizing her award winning handwoven textiles made with the finest luxury yarns from around the world, for nearly 50 years. Her work can be seen in her Boston gallery, dahliahandmade.com, which features her handwoven clothing, as well as the work of other artisans.
She has taught at a variety of art centers the past 40 years, and is happy to be able to share her knowledge through her upcoming workshops.
