April Vacation Program

April 20–April 23, 2027

We’re thrilled to bring back our April Vacation Program in 2027! Our April Vacation Program runs Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 3:45 PM. It is open to students ages 6-8 and 9-12.

This year's April Vacation Program features a special comic arts track for students. We offer the following four media: comic arts, mixed media, fiber arts, and woodworking. Families will select a combination of two media for their student's morning and afternoon classes. Please view all possible combinations under "Registration Links" below. Each class will be led by two teaching staff and capped at 12 students to allow for individual attention.

We only offer full-day programming during April Vacation week. Instruction takes place inside the Eliot Schoolhouse. Play, snack, and lunch time will take place in either the Schoolyard or, during inclement weather, the Schoolhouse.

Financial Aid

The Eliot School is committed to making our classes and workshops as accessible as possible to all people regardless of age, ability, background, or economic means. We are happy to offer a limited number of full and partial scholarships to increase access to arts programming for young people. Please note that due to high demand, there are additional terms and conditions for Vacation Program financial aid.

If applying for multiple children, families must submit separate applications for each child.

To apply for a scholarship for our 2027 April Vacation Programs, please complete our standard Scholarship Application. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the programs fill or funds are exhausted.

  • Families with income-related benefits, e.g., EBT, SSI, SSDI, TANF, Veterans' Benefit, WIC, Pell Grants, receive priority for full scholarships.
  • If a student can no longer attend a program for which they received a scholarship, they need to be formally withdrawn no later than Wednesday, April 7, 2027. Improper withdrawal may affect future scholarship eligibility.
  • Full attendance is expected for all students. If a student misses two or more days of a week of program, they will be ineligible for financial aid for one year. This may be waived in special circumstances.
  • Scholarship awards are not finalized until they are formally accepted by the applicant. The Eliot School may rescind and redistribute financial aid awards if acceptance procedure is not followed.

Refunds & Withdrawals

It is not possible to withdraw directly through our website. Please contact our Education & Engagement Coordinator to withdraw.

All refunds are subject to a $20 processing fee from our payment platform.

Registrations made within two weeks of program start dates are considered “late registrations” and are ineligible for refunds.

Deadlines:

  • Full refunds given up through Tuesday, March 23, 2027
  • 50% refund given up through Tuesday, April 6, 2027
  • No refunds given after Wednesday, April 7, 2027
