Learn the basics of crochet with family!  This class is designed for a duo of parent/caregiver and child to learn how to crochet, together.

You'll learn how to hold the hook, form a slip knot, create a foundation chain and other principles of single crochet.

Use your new skills to create a simple bookmark with tassels. 

Never done crochet before?  No worries, no prior experience is needed.

Pysanky, a traditional Ukrainian egg-decorating technique, uses layers of wax and colored dye to achieve beautiful, complex designs. In time for Easter, learn color layering, localized application, and use of different tool sizes for varied results. At the end, remove the wax to reveal the finished egg.
