Beginning Crochet Lesson 1 (Adults)

Join us online to learn the basics of crochet. Learn how to hold the hook, form a slip knot, create a foundation chain and other principles of single crochet. Use your new skills to create a simple bookmark with tassels. No prior experience necessary! Beginners are welcome as well as those looking for a refresher.

Angela Cooper

Angela is a Notre Dame AmeriCorps member serving the Eliot School as an art teacher's assistant.  She has been crocheting for about 15 years and has created blankets, hats, scarves, shawls, slippers, amigurumi, garlands, and purses.  Angela also embroiders, knits, weaves on a hand loom, and sews small projects.  Recently, she has enjoyed working with oil pastels and watercolor pencils to try another medium of art.
