Age Group:
Teens (17+), Adults

"En plein air" is a French expression meaning “in the open air” and refers to the act of painting outdoors with the artist's subject in full-view.

Join us outdoors for vibrant Spring afternoons of creating!

We'll explore various locations in Boston including Jamaica Pond, The Arnold Arboretum, and the Fens to develop our skills in depicting the observed world on paper and canvas.  Use the medium of your choice, the instructor will reach out with recommendations.

All skill-levels welcome.

*The first class will meet on the Eliot School grounds, weather-permitting.

*Class will occur in the school's Lower Level Classroom, in the event of inclement weather

*Students may bring their own easels to offsite locations, or borrow an easel from the Eliot School
